Early Retirement believes that music should be fun, rowdy, and shared with the people you care about.

Forming friendships in the Rochester, NY music scene prior to starting the band, the guys shared a love for pop punk that inspired their new collective. Naming themselves after a Handguns son (and a healthy dose of workplace apathy), the quartet began writing a collection of songs reminiscent of Blink-182, A Day to Remember, and Man Overboard. Lighthearted lyrics, chunky guitar riffs, and bright harmonies are what to expect from each release.

Amidst the ironic pun, Early Retirement shows no signs of slowing down. The band won Bayside's battle of the bands in November 2019, opening for the Rochester date of the Interrobang tour. This opening slot was their fourth show as a group. Following this grand introduction to the local scene, the guys recorded their debut album with Jordan Foehner at HQ audio. "The Bottle" gives listeners a taste of their unique brand of sunny pop punk and leaves fans feeling excited to hear the full length.
